Reading: Fill in the blanks

This is the interface of the question; it is essential to familiarize yourself with the form because the exam does not warn you that they are changing the type of question.

In this type of question, your ability to understand a text and select the most appropriate word is mainly evaluated. A text appears on the screen with different gaps; instead, drag the words to the part of the text that corresponds.

Be smart is the key of the success

  • Follow the grammatical sequence of the parts of speech
  • Scan the entire text first to make sure you understand the general topic and meaning.
  • Look at the context around the space and try to predict the word or type of word that could logically fill each space before looking at the word choices.
  • Look and analyze the options. Then, choose the one that best suits your predictions.
  • Most of the questions are tricky in structure, so identify which type of word is the most appropriate (noun, verb, adj …) and select the most appropriate.
  • Please familiarize yourself with the question form, I mean like the time on the computer, see question style.
  • Learn as many collocations as possible.
